Research interests

Nick Van den Broeck's research focuses on the organization of poor relief in three sets of rural parishes in the Southern Low Countries between 1750-1830. His specific research interests are: poverty, poor relief, wealth inequality, labour relations, peasant studies, rural history and English poor laws.
